Artist History Eric Johnson has been a strong force on the Texas guitar scene since the mid-70's when he was in the Jazz/Fusion based Electromagnets. While still in his teens, Eric was impressing players of all styles and peer level. During the late '80's after a contract dispute was lifted, Eric recorded the critically acclaimed Tones. The follow up in the early '90's was Ah Via Musicom which is quite possibly the strongest guitar based record ever. Recent releases have included a blues side project called Alien Love Child - Live and Beyond which earned a Grammy nomination for "Rain".
