    Artist description
David Aramor is a singular artist that makes moving, honest music with the power of rare, raw emotion. His album, Mortality is the Secret is available for sale, and he is in the process of recording a followup, A Servant in the Box. The songs are luminous, and brilliant. He breathes fresh life and possibilities into rock that few, if any artist out there, can match. Odd chord voicings and a total command of craft make this a special songwriter at the peak of his powers. Listen for the future.

    Artist History
BIOGRAPHY Born in 1975, David Aramor found himself possessed by the dreaded singer/songwriter disease at a young age, writing tunes on a piano and looping them through two ancient tape recorders. After graduating high school at 16, he joined the Navy, serving in submarines as a nuclear technician. During the first two years of service he bought his first guitar. Armed with this acoustic, he began writing in earnest. David found a musical partner-in-crime in Patrick Owen, also a guitarist serving on the same submarine. They formed their first band, Poor Solomon, shortly thereafter and performed a few shows in the Connecticut area before military duties intervened. Despite the lengthy sea tours and limited free time, they continued to write and develop their sound, investing whatever money they could into new equipment for their future endeavors. When their enlistments ended, they moved to the North Carolina area to form a new band, Critical Bliss. They played for a year in North Carolina before band conflicts (a girl -and don't laugh, that isn't funny) tore the group apart. David then moved to Pennsylvania in search of a high-paying, yet unfulfilling job to allow him to get his head together after the breakup. There he worked for two years as a Project Manager for a power company in New Jersey. Toward the end of that period he began playing again, solo, in the Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania area. With the insistence of many of his friends he bought a home recording studio and recorded his first album for public consumption (utilizing two of the tracks recorded beforehand with Poor Solomon). David then resigned from Jersey Central Power and Light to further pursue his dream of creating music. With renewed energy and focus, he now finds himself dedicated toward living a musician's gypsy life, and panhandling at busy intersections until the police find enough time to chase him off. He also happens to be gigging at many clubs in Siskiyou County and Southern Oregon. His compositions are cerebral and haunting, laden with bare emotional honesty and experience. His voice, described as “amazing and intense”, wields a dark energy that is an exciting element in his live performances. As of now he plays to a growing number of fans, and is in the process of formulating another band. David prints his own cds and demos for sale at most of his gigs. The songs are remarkable, and all that have bought it have commented that there is not a weak track on the album. Mortality is the Secret can be purchased upon request.

    Press Reviews
“THE AMERICAN ANSWER TO THOM YORKE AND ELLIOT SMITH, A WHOLLY UNIQUE ARTIST MAKING MUSIC THAT MOVES AND MATTERS. BRILLIANT, INSPIRING...” -Mads Birkvig, editor, Danish Broadcasting “METICULOUS SONGCRAFT THAT RISES ABOVE GENRE AND CONVENTION. ARAMOR CONJURES A DARK SONIC WONDERLAND THAT HAUNTS WITH PASSION, TROUBLED SOUL, AND MAJESTY.” -Patrick Owen, musician “THERE IS A CERTAIN UNEXPLAINABLE ENTROPY IN HIS COMPOSITIONS THAT MAKES EVEN HIS SOFTEST SONGS SEEM FULL OF WILD ENERGY BENEATH A PLACID, SURREAL SURFACE. THE MUSIC REWARDS MORE AND MORE WITH CONTINUED LISTENINGS.” -Ricky Dean Fisher, songwriter “CEREBRAL AND CONFLICTED MUSIC THAT SPARKS OF HONESTY AND INTELLIGENCE.” -Tavis Baird, musician and writer “THE BEST GUITAR WORK I’VE HEARD IN TEN YEARS. FULL OF SOUL.” -Ron Miller, owner of The First and Last Chance Saloon, Hornbrook, CA “HE IS MORE THAN WORTHY OF THE COMPARISONS TO KURT COBAIN. THE MUSIC HAS THAT SAME HONESTY AND PASSION, BUT SHED FREE OF SOME OF THE PUNK INFLUENCES THAT SOMETIMES LIMITED COBAIN’S REACH. I’VE NEVER HEARD SUCH A TURBULENT, HYPNOTIC WORK AS ARAMOR’S MORTALITY ALBUM, CONCLUDING WITH THE AWE-INSPIRING, A PERFECT MISTAKE.” -Timothy Lane, musician
