Artist description
Our true purpose is to fulfill our own musical desires...which we believe may be interesting to a few strange individuals out there...With the amount of musical influences we have, it gets very hard to actually pinpoint a definite mission statement, so the mission is to relay our emotions as purely as we can....and see what comes out....YOU be the judge, mail us and tell us what you think! |

Artist History
Formed recently, Blakansa is a collaboration between longtime friends Tristan Godfrey and Andrew Murphy. Tristan and Andrew first met at university, at the start of the nineties. Whilst suffering the pains of a sometimes formal musical education, they spent most their spare time jamming and listening to things that interested them musically...Eventually, around the mid nineties they had written quite a lot of their own, individual sounds, played in a shitload of crappy bands (occasionally good) and basically went their own way for a while...Andrew (Guitarist) went on to experiment with the Industrial/Electronic genre's and learn all the new digital tech that was coming out, while Tristan (Piano/Keyboards) moved to another city and did the same. Blakansa is the start of a new musical union between Tristan and Andrew, one which is sure to be watched! |
