Artist description Solar Stream was founded in the end of 2002 by Johannes Buchner, a 17 year old guy from Austria. He started making music in 1996, with very poor Equipment like Dance Ejay or Music Maker, everything was sample-based. A year later he bought a programm called Fruity Loops. vwhere he started to compose his one melodies and stuff, and he called himself "DJ Spectre". He learned a lot through this programm and got much reviews from the internet, and so the sound improved a lot from time to time. After 2 years of working with Fruity loops he bought his first Synthesizer, the Yamaha CS6-X and Steinberg Cubase. Later on some other synths followed, like Roland JP-8080 or Waldorf Q. He produced lots of stuff under the name "Cryptic Project". SO today he's got his one small studio. Inspired by Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Korsten he's creating energetic and uplfiting trance music, and sometimes very relaxed ambient tunes like Chicane.
