Artist History
You may already be familiar with me, Taylor, and my band VESSTA (I'm the singer) - so if you know me from IUMA or MP3.com, then Hey! Regardless, I took it upon myself to put this page and another page at IUMA together in an effort to introduce you to this guy I've had the privilige of knowing and working with - Scott Hoffman. Besides being one of my favorite people on the planet, Scotty, in my opinion and in the opinion of many others, deserves to be heard. In traditional blues/rock fashion and a voice that could be comparable to Nick Cave, Scotty is undoubtedly the most passionately committed songwriter I've ever met.
Featuring guest performances by Jimmy Musto (drums), myself (Taylor Marks, back-up vocals), Rick Kurek and David Scar (guitar) and produced by Jimmy and I in our studio (The Dungeon), the pure heart & soul of Scotty's writing is unmistakable - and irresistable.
Any and all feedback is welcome! Of course, you're welcome to go to http://vessta.iuma.com or http://www.mp3.com/vessta (link to us in the links section on the main menu) to listen to VESSTA and leave comments there if you have anything to say about the production of Scotty's music... I hope you enjoy Scott Hoffman as much as we do.
Warm regards and the best of luck to all of you, Taylor Marks
