Artist History Originally from Hagerstown, Maryland and now residing in the country side of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, Songwriter / musician Johnny Kaufman has been writing and performing for nearly two decades. His music has received rave reviews coast to coast and abroad within the past 3 years. Sometimes sorrowful, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes bitter, his music always has a sincerity that possesses emotional impact Though many genres of music are covered, the urgency in the delivery always seems to shine through. You'll instantly be thrown into the mind of someone who takes his songwriting extremely serious. As a musician, he is a guitarist, bassist, drummer and loves to plink around on the keyboard. Though he does not consider him- self a vocalist, he figures since he does everything else in his music, he might as well go the whole way. His past bands and projects include a three year stint with the industrial metal band Sixteen Cylinder and former solo band Blind Eye Soul. He is now writing and rehearsing in Fayetteville with former Sixteen Cylinder and None Meek band members in the female fronted band "Dreams in Fear". DiF is a mesh of heavy, dark but melodic music.
