for those with an open mind. Scratch Manual

Artist History
A chance drunken encounter revealed a shared love
of guitars, rap, recording and home made beats.
Since early October 2001, Elton and Paul have been
recording inside Paul’s Loft as often as possible. The most beneficial aspect of this pairing is the desire to create music that isn’t easily categorised. This allows a more open approach to songwriting and leads to a fusion of ideas. |

Group Members
Hailing from New Zealand, Elton has a background
of days spent in the sunshine rapping and jamming
songs that reflect his upbeat outlook on life.
England has provided a perfect environment for his
writing style which encapsulates both city suave
and country boy charm. Surrounded by a multitude
of cables, Paul’s ambidextrous digits have been
knob tweaking in his home studio for years. With
a confusing array of electronic gadgetry, guitars
and drums, Paul manipulates noises into luscious
ear candy.
