Artist description "altlast-X-enical" wurde 1999 von Andreas Scheibel (Key) und Meikel Dobric (Key) gegründet. Vor diesem Projekt waren sie die Mitglieder der Synthie-Pop Band "Emotional Violence". Jedoch wollten sie nicht nur fremde Songs wiedergeben, sondern eigene Ideen umsetzen und nach außen tragen. Durch den konsequenten Einsatz verschiedenster Elemente der elektronischen Musik ist der "Sound" von"a-X-e", die Festlegung auf eine bestimmte Stilrichtung, nicht einfach. Sicher ist jedoch, daß dadurch ein sehr interessanter Mix entsteht, der nicht nur ein bestimmtes Publikum ansprechen, sondern für jeden Hörer interessante Elemente bieten soll.
