Artist History
Swingshift has been playing in the San Francisco Bay area since 1994. Highlights include performances at the San Luis Obispo Blues Society concert in '99 and the recent New Year's eve concert at JJ's Blues in San Jose. CA.The Roadhouse Blues and Rock Cafe in Sunnyvale and the Mossdale Marina in Lathrop, CA, are favorite jamming spots, with gigs booked nearly every month. Swingshift often shows up at the Ivy Room in Albany, IDEAL in Santa Cruz, and other hot spots. |

Peter Brown on guitars. Harrison Weese on vocals and harp. Gary Williams on Fender bass.Kenny 'Blue' Ray guitar. Screamin' Iain MacLeod doing vocals and harp. On the 'Lucky' CD, Brian Mahoney from Chicago plays keyboards on some cuts, including the newly uploaded "Found Another Fool" that features solos by Brian and Iain on harp and vocal. Gene Pardue from the original Eddie Money band plays half of the drum cuts. Jim Overton from Indigo Swing plays the other half of the drum tracks, including 'Lucky'. Live performances feature many great local sticksters that include Kenny Gross from Castro Valley, Lance Dickerson from Marin county, Gene Pardue, Steve Jones from Los Gatos, and Andy Thrall from 'Nitecry' and fomrerly with Tommy Castro.Guest artist frequently show up at gigs and include Steve Freund, Mike Shermer, Steve Edmundsen, Monster Mike Welch, and others. |
