Artist History Steam Shovel is an ever changing group of musicians centered around band founders Ken Ray and Eddie Hering.Since 1985,the band has created thier own unique brand of rock and roll,drawing from diverse influences ranging from Blues to New Wave.Over the years the band has focused on writing and recording according to thier own ear,not what the industry demands.Therefore,we have not sought much in the way of fame and fortune.Although the band has been mainly a hobby,we have decided to share some of Steam Shovel's more interesting material with the listening public.A great deal of time and effort has gone into this project over the years and we hope you'll enjoy listening as much as we have creating.More to come...
