Artist History
Formed in January 1999 after months of furious negotiation. Ventilator (Synth/Guitar/Vocals) put together the band after a long hiatus since the last gigs of legendary London-Glasgow industrial/disco/techno/noise organisation Torsilator. Jetfuel (Bass) continues to contribute to two other bands: the funk/jazz outfit Brooklyn, and commercially lucrative soul/pop group Menace. Lt Drumsky (Drums) leaps out of a lifelong career in trip-metal, having previously lent backbeat to the absorbing slash/rock band Rhino and space/r’n’b trashers Sly Dog. Jetfuel had last worked with Nick as the rhythm section of cheesy cackrock/covers cash venture Easy Money, but had begun his career with Ventilator (then known as ‘Operating Manual’, some years ago in the psychedelic/cartoon group the Fun Section, previously Janitors of the Universe.Since July 2000, New front man Hurly Kurly has taken over vocal responsibilities. This allows a correspondingly greater degree of irresponsibility by the original members. |

Albums
The four-track CD EP 'Are you ready to go?' has just been launched at Glasgow's King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. The gig will be released as a CD of dubious quality this spring. Last summer's ferocious live release, 'Gourock Outdoor Pool' is still on sale. A five-track CD single, ‘Aero Space Age Inferno’ is available |
