Artist History
Morningstar arose as a solo project of the former bassist/vocalist/keyboardist from 'Fornever' and then following a name change (following the discovery of an east coast band with the same name) and line-up alteration, 'Ineo.' Working with the two bands was the spark of inspiration and growth in compositional abilities that gave birth to Morningstar. |

Press Reviews
Morningstar—A brightness in the thick Gothic night. Dramatic and devastating to the heart, Morningstar’s music explodes with emotion. Every word, every phrase spills the soul of the composer, who very obviously cares about his music unlike so many performers in the modern day. The song 'Only Human' fills one with sorrow and wrenches sympathy for the soul involved. The music dances lightly beyond thoughtful reach, drawing the listener almost into a trance—rewarding the observant with a moving and delightfully dark experience. The second song available, 'Remembering,' practically killed me. The melodies brought tears to my eyes and the ambience of the music left me shaken. Very gothic in tone and nature, this song retains enough melody and composition to be mainstream and is certainly suggested for anyone who likes music at all. The ending will get you no matter what kind of music you prefer. Robert has an outstanding voice that lends well to his writing. The force he chooses and the emotional silence he can generate with a single note is fascinating. More of a classical singer, his voice is pleasant and easy to appreciate and not too low or high as you’ll find with most performers in this genre. Truly unique in his abilities and how he conveys himself, Robert has a sterling future ahead. When Morningstar finally releases their first CD, I’ll be the first on the list to procure it. I hope that you all do the same. It is certainly a project worthy of the new millennium and has an outstanding chance of surviving the test of time. Enjoy! --Arrant Knave Productions (Kev M) |
