Artist description
His voice has been described as spiritually soulful, sultry, passionate, sensual, and smooth. His Gospel-inspired, Motown-influenced vocals, combined with strong songwriting sensibilities, lend flavor to his unique musical blend. J’effrey Winslow explains his sound this way: “Though I’m not a Gospel artist, per sé, I love the energy and feel of the live Gospel sound, and I still try to get that energy across even though I’m exploring secular subject matter.” Billboard proclaimed J’effrey’s music to be “exceptionally strong [and] commercially appealing.” His new CD, “HERE I AM”, includes a Spanish-language version of the first single, “Grace”, as well as the powerful Gospel love song “I’m Falling (Hold On To My Heart)”, and the bouncy R&B groove of “Turn Your Love Out”. |
