Artist History
In early 1995, guitarist/vocalist Nate Taylor and drummer Doug Panzer formed the punk rock bandHopper Genie. The band developed a loyal followingby combining punk rhythms with catchy hooks and chorusesmatched with unforgetable lyrics.After a Hopper Genie hiatus and the departure ofits bassist, Taylor and Panzer brought on bassistand backing vocalist Eric Lichtfuss. The additionof guitarist and backing vocalist Chris Hernandez was soon tofollow. This new incarnation bore Big Meanie.With five years of musical maturity and the abilityto add exceptional harmonies, Big Meanie's sound blowsaway even the most loved old tunes.Big Meanie is now hitting the bar, club,and college scene in Washington, D.C., and is set to release the new CD "TEA BAG" during the summer of 2000. |
