Artist History Damon started playing guitar at age 12 and it was obvious that he was bursting with natural ability, love for his instrument and music in general. He teamed up with his cousin Aaron on drums to form their first band, Fake-Native with a young bass player named Brian Floyd. They played small clubs and gained experience very fast. Reece Smith, an older, more seasoned bass man joined the band shortly after. That is when it came together and bigger venues started to take notice.
