Artist History
Spawned in 1996 from various bodyparts of acclaimed multi-media group Screwtape, Bloom signed with Melbourne-based Swerve Records after demanding too much money from a major label. Bloom's debut, "Adult Themes", was voted album of the year in Belgium while several tracks were selected for the soundtrack of the hit Australian TV series, "Good Guys, Bad Guys". Both "Adult Themes" and Bloom's second album, "Smoke and Mirrors", are now enjoying airplay and sales around the globe from Scandinavia to Greece to Canada to New Zealand. NYC-based Lovecat Music is now working to place Bloom's music on film and TV soundtracks as the band starts research and development for its third album. |
