Artist History Formed in 1996, J.D. Sundstrom, the band's principle lyricist, and Steve Sundstrom comprise the core of Suffer for Sound.Steve explains why he and J.D. have remained at the center of the group this way, "We have tried to get other people to join the band in the past and it usually hasn't worked out. Most of the people just aren't right. For example, both J.D. and I are looking for individuals who have nothing to say and are willing to stand in the background...maybe play an instrument and smile alot."
