Artist History
Slave Unit is possibly the first genuinely punk-industrial band that doesn't fall into the trappings of recycled metal or rock. Formed in 1993 vocalist/guitarist/programmer Mike Welch and bassist/programmer Torsten Hartwell produced what would later be described as "The Wall Of Sound". Slave Unit's live shows are an electrifying experience not to miss. |

Press Reviews
"The guitars chum like Draino burning a hole in your stomach, the drums rattle like dead kittens in a washing machine spin cycle, and the vocalist screams like he's ready to kill you."(Industrial Nation). |
