no-one - thats the point! (although you might think Eno meets Metheny in Part - possibly - a touch of Bill Frisell, maybe?) |

Artist History
Having been interested in music utilising tape loops for many years, but never really having the right technology (or a better delay unit than a 1.8 second Ibanez model), I finally bought a Lexicon JamMan in August 1996. This piece of equipment opened up whole new areas (for me at least), and I've been developing music based on repeated lines, gradually transforming from one "soundscape" to another since then. |

Press Reviews
"Streamers of looped, processed guitar coalesce and sublimate like the northern lights. Weaving through alternating zones of light and darkness, these sounds neither possess nor require a specific destination" - Listen.com. "Lyrical and groovacious" - Guitar Player magazine; "Combines Frisell-like twang with minimalist delicacy" - Time Out magazine; "A good late-night ambient listen" - Sound On Sound magazine. The track "Norwood Yew" was described as "Eno-esque dark ambient. Extrememly beautiful!" when it was the Featured Environmental Soundscapes song in mid-1999. Six of my tunes have been Featured Minimalist selections: "For DHW"; "Satie's Faction"; "To be decided..."; "Slowly drawn aPart"; "Those Ortone Livres"; and "Week Seven". All of which is most gratifying. |
