Artist History
This band was formed in the studio to create music for eventual distribution worldwide via the Internet. At the time this album was produced, (1992-93) MP3 was not yet a reality. "Time For Change" remained on the shelf waiting for technology to catch up with the idea, until the advent of mp3.com. |

Press Reviews
The title track "Time For Change" was featured in the May 1999 issue of Takarajima Publications' monthly "DOS/V & Macintosh Magazine" in Tokyo, Japan. A special section featured "Best MP3 Music". A free CD was distributed with the magazine, containing a copy of "Time For Change". Circulation: 100,000+. ********** Ronnie Collins plays pure, smile-inducing Americana. His talented backline approximates old timey sounds with rusty fiddle swipes, bouncy shuffle-rhythms, and a piano that practically laughs out loud from being tickled pink. The acoustic guitar picking is the only element that stands out with its flat tone; the warm resonating Dobro slides more than make up for it. - Eric Shea - www.listen.com. ***** Look for the new album release "Town Of Fewer People" by Sidewinder Records recording artist Freddy Lovvorn. Freddy covers two Ronnie Collins' tunes, "There You Have It" and the title cut "Town Of Fewer People." |
