Artist History
started in a little black book of notes during my highschool years (89 - 92), finally in college I bought a bass and never looked back. At first there was a mental barrier, because I had started so "late" at eighteen. I just put my soul into it and played with anyone I could. Eventually I evolved what I consider to be a unique jazzy style with lyrics that no one has dropped before. After singing along with many CD's for years I started actually listening to my voice and thinking of it as an instrument. After playing in one project "Strange Children" I kind of started doin my own thing after breaking up with the lead singer and primary songwriter. My biggest challenge is trying to find musicians who are trying to open their higher consciousness sober and real . . . as themselves. As I say in the song Truth, "Music is the scientific pursuit of spirituality" and I try to live up to that with each and every song |
