Artist History It all began when at the age of 10, Raymond picked up the guitar the WRONG way! Upside down and backwards he played for almost four years before he was clued in to turn the strings around. Anyway, 20+ years later and here we are. Having played in cover bands since age 16, Raymond has played just about every format out there. From rock, pop, metal, funk, blue grass, jazz, and blues, Raymond has at some point in time played it. As a means of experimenting and advancing his playing ability, Raymond began to write instrumental material, inspired by artist such as Joe Satriani and Gary Hoey. As technology progressed, so did his playing. With his home computer, some great multi-track software, and a corner slot in his living room, Raymond's "home studio" had arrived! Having played guitar for over 20 years, Raymond's love of music includes just about every type of instrument, so long as he doesn't have to use a bow or blow into it. Writing, producing, and recording everything himself in his home studio, this self-taught muti-instrumentalist is one rising star not to miss. The majority of the material found online was performed and recorded by entirely by Raymond in the corner of his living room! The days of the living room "studio" have since evolved into Raymond's new studio (aka - his garage), complete with some new toys and the ability to wash clothes! None of the material found online at MP3.com is a "polished" or "finished" product, but rather a "work in progress".

Press Reviews Clearly this is a man who speaks through his guitar. The way Ray works those strings reflects a variety of moods and shows demonstrable range. In some songs, he displays a mastery over his instrument that harkens to the intricacy of classical Spanish guitar.
