    Artist description
Together, Randy and Ted prove that two heads are better than one. And, that two wrongs can make a "writer." "WE CONSIDER OURSELVES SONGWRITERS FIRST, RECORDING ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS SECOND. THE GREATEST COMPLIMENT WE COULD RECEIVE WOULD BE TO HAVE OTHER ARTISTS COVER OUR SONGS" Randy & Ted have been writing songs together since the 1980's, and agree that the law of averages insures that, "At least some of them will be good!" Their musical styles tend to run from rock to blues to pop to jazz to country. But mostly, Ted and Randy's writing influences come from traditional music like John Prine and Steve Goodman, Robert Johnson, B.B. King, groups like The Beatles (big surprise there), the Doors, and Eric Clapton. Their songs are also characterized by their mutual respect for great performing acts like Little Feat and Moody Blues. However, musical influences as diverse as Frank Zappa and The Eagles are also incorporated into many of Lehman-Bishop's songwriting efforts.
