Artist description
I am a solo artist working in electronic music. "From the Attic Window" is my first album, whose songs were written between 1994 and 1998. "Krysmas Joy" is the next in line, featuring arrangements of my favourite Christmas carols and hymns. After that comes "SunDance", which has a more upbeat, "sunny" feel to it than the previous albums. Finally, there is the unfinished "A Mirror to My World", which is quite a bit more self-expressive than any of my previous music. |

Artist History
My musical history began with piano lessons. I took lessons on and off from my mother. In grade school I began playing percussion. In high school I became more interested in mallet percussion, and made All-State Band as a junior. I began composing as a senior, doing an advanced studioes course in which I wrote a piece for concert band and conducted it in concert. By the time I graduated I had written a handful of pieces for band and orchestra, as well as a few electronic songs. I went on to Iowa State University where I became more and more interested in electronic music, eventually abandoning acoustic music altogether, except for the occasional request. I graduated in 1998 with a BA in Music. |
