Artist description as the hudson dusters, we are dedicated to the purveyance of good music...drawing from every available style (rock, punk, funk, ska, surf, pop, techno, swing, jazz, and metal) we represent an eclectic group of citizens dedicated to creating ear pleasing and mind blowing songs for our enjoyment as well as the enjoyment of others... basically, we take everything we have ever known and loved, and perform a synthesis thereby compressing all known elements into something completely new...

Artist History based out of new york city the dusters started out as a trio (guitar, bass, and drums) in late february 1997...hailing from brooklyn (NY), as well as fort lee and cliffside park (NJ) the three original band mates formed an unlikely hodge-podge of fellows...we went on like that for about 3/4 of a year, but we always thought that something was missing...in november of 1997 we figured that out when we met our trumpet player, dave...he added a new element to the band that has made our sound distinguishable amongst much of the noise that you'll hear out there...in early january of '98 we recorded our first cd at rolan phaties studios in west new york (NJ) and since then, we have gone on a tear playing at such prestigious venues as "cbgb" and "the lion's den"...recently we successfully routed the competition in the annual battle of the bands at the new amsterdam cafe in nyc...
