Artist description
We do not live in the darkness!! It’s about
self reflection, enlightenment, and positive
direction. for daylight is an ideal that encompasses
what these guys are trying to do with their lives
Comprised of Ernie Martinez on guitar and vocals,
brother Eric on Drums and Cousin Jason Sawyer on bass.
Members in for daylight are no strangers to Music world,
Jason has music in his blood, His Grandfather is the legendary
Ray Sawyer better known as Dr. Hook from the 70’s band
Dr. Hook and the medicine show who has had such hits as
“cover of a Rolling Stone” And “Sylvia’s mother”.
Frontman Ernie was also founding member of Unfisted
Who had released an album on indie label Burning Records
Out of Pittsburgh, Pa. . The album “define strength”
Was released in 2001 and has reached Ernie and Unfisted
A licensing deal with Bunim-murray productions
Who produces hit shows The real world and Road Rules for MTV.
For daylight is a band that promises to
take their blend of hardcore meets rock to the next
level. This is a band that promises not a show, but an
emotional movement. Having no set level of intensity,
with tight melodic grooves that imitate no one band,
but rival many on the national front. With vocal
stylings that reach from heavy screams to melodic
singing, yet all the while so honest and emotional
that you will feel chills and desperately seek more.
This is a band about trials and tribulations. It's
about making changes.
