Artist History Vanderveen is a merger of Winnipeg's finest writing and playing talent. Phil Bockstael, formerly of "Not Going to Vegas" and "Jonah Stone" fame has spent the past number of years writing and recording his own style of music that has now spilled over into the Vanderveen project. With the addition of another well known multi-talented musician and writer, Matt Thomas formerly of "Leaderhouse", the style and sound of Vanderveen was formed. Rounding out the Vanderveen sound is one of Winnipeg's most entertaining bass players with the skill and talent to go with it. Roland Deschambault, also formerly of "Not Going to Vegas" and "Jonah Stone" fame, lays down the groove with one of Winnipeg's premier drummers, Tim Sutton. Last but not least is an unbelievably talented singer, songwriter and musician, Kyle Kiernan. Kyle adds the color and depth to this new string of hits.
