Artist History
Jeff Hibbard played a guitar for the first time
at the age of ten years old, "My cousin had built
it from a kit and we could not tune it but it
felt good".
Two years later a neighbor showed Jeff how to play
a repetative note run on the bass strings of his
Spanish guitar.
Another two years later in 1967 at the age of Sixteen years old Jeff played in
the Approach Band with Ozzy Osbourne, "The Lead
Guitarist showed me one chord and I could play
any song I wanted to".
Jeff went on to play in other Birmingham Pub
and Club Bands and gained a lot of experience
from playing such songs as, Smoke on the water, Paranoid, I shot the sheriff, Imagine, Sultans of swing and many more songs.
"I started to write my own songs around the year
1980 and we used to play a couple of them in a Band called
Trapper".
After writing songs for a few years Jeff decided
to look for a Professional recording firm to Demo
ten of his own songs.
I.S.A. describe Jeffs ten songs as a mixture of
"Folk rock and Folk pop" and said, "They were very good
songs to work with".
Jeff wrote the Lyrics and the Music to all the songs
and used an American Female singer and an American Male singer,
and alternated the ten songs between them both.
Here are the song Titles,
1 One way Rose,
2 Smoky old Town,
3 Hark,
4 Summer Winds,
5 The Blues,
6 Waking Moments,
7 Heart of Clay,
8 Carry the Pain,
9 Your Shoes,
10 Stranger Ways.
