    Artist description
When they hear the word honey flavor comes to minds and, that’s just what she is Flavorful. Honey comes from a family of many mixed races and she has lived in all parts of the U.S. it has allowed her to get a taste of all kinds of music. She has had a chance to experience what they listen to on the west coast, what they listen to in the dirty south, and what they listen to on the east coast. Honey has taken all her flavor and combined it in one using her life experiences and her deepest most inner thoughts and emotions and turned it into relative music. Honey was born on July 15, 1978 in the state of Massachusetts. When she was 5 years old her mother packed her, her 2 sisters and brother up and moved them to AZ. Her father soon followed them. With her father suffering from alcoholism, it left very little cash for the family, he moved them from house to house, and town-to-town trying to make ends meet. Her father finally settled and bought a house in Lake Havasu City, AZ a predominately white community. Thru her childhood years Honey was ridiculed for the color of her skin. Coming from a family of a father who is black and mother is Portuguese, Irish, and Indian she felt as though she never fit in. Her mother started homes schooling her in the eight grade. She grew up not having very many friends. Honey kept to herself. Music was her best friend. She listened to all kinds of music from Guns and Roses to Mary J Blige. At the age of 13 she began writing songs with one of the only friends that she had. Writing songs and singing them on the Karaoke machine her sister got for Christmas one year. As she got more in to her teens she started singing at any place she could in Church, her eight-grade graduation, at local teenage parties with friends. Soon her mother put Honey back in school. Unable to gain accreditation for her home schooling years Honey decided to get Her GED. Longing to be around people of her kind she decided to enroll at Kentucky State University an all black college. There she started focusing more on school instead of music, and gave up on her dreams. Still she never seemed to fit in with people. She was known as the white girl now. Honey was looking for love in all the wrong places. After being stalked by her boyfriend in college, Honey moved to CT to live with her sister. Going thru bad relationships and more bad relationships brought Honey’s self esteem to an all time low. She fell in love with a rapper who changed her life. Watching him and his struggling record label Hot Shots Entertainment she decided to give it a try again, knowing that it was something she had always wanted. Eight months later they broke up but the music stayed with her. She picked up a pen paper and any instrumental CD she could find, and the words would flow naturally. She found that music was the only way she could express and reward herself. Writing about all the good the times, the hard times, and the things that she knew other people could relate too. Thru her music she gained back her self-esteem and confidence. With her beauty, her creativity, her charm, and her catchy hooks and lines, Honey makes listeners fall in love with her…………..
