Artist History
Kandor was formed in 1997 by "Ilvminatvs" and "Dakrian", after leaving germanys blackmetal newcomer band named "Dakria". Our thoughts about creating sound and music were merely different from "Dakria" style. We released our first demo "Sieg" in 1997 which had great reviews in Metal Hammer (surprise...) and Ablaze. 1998 the "Imperium" Demo was released, but without any reviews in any magazine - the sended tapes amazingly dissapeared...
1999 KANDOR started recording the debut CD "After Antichrist" (first title was "Sigillum Sanctum Fraternitatis A:.A:.", which had to be changed because of copyright problems)and while recording singer "Dakrian" left KANDOR with the cause of "personal differences". - Die! -
So Ilvminatvs had to do the vox. Finally "After Antichrist" was released in winter 1999 and had great reviews in Metal Harmonies in belgium and from leading blackmetal magazine Ablaze. In 2002 the new album "The nameless cult" was finished and released. It contains 3 new songs, a videoclip and both demos! A new Album will be released, if possible, in winter 2003. |
