Artist History Hi, I'm a local artist based in the LA area. I have been activly singing and writing since....well..forever it feels like. It has always been like this extension of myself like breathing. To me, it's really important to feel a connection to the music whether it's my music or someone else's. I'd have to say my roots are in the pop,rock and country jenres. My biggest influence was Richard Marx. His sound inspired me alot. I have the utmost respect for him as both a songwriter and a producer. To this day I have yet to come across anything as melodic or with as much feel. It's always been a dream of mine to have him produce a song for me someday. The biggest thing I'm drawn to would have to be ..sincerety. My mother has an amazing voice. (it's a beautiful thing to fall asleep to the sound of your mother's voice as a child it is the most comforting sound in the world) and my first introduction to sincerety. I started off doing backgrounds for other local artists, collaborative projects and playing at local venues. I think I knew early on what my sound was and I'm grateful for that. It was really important to me that I surround myself with people who were compatable with that and who could enhance it. Needless to say I was always in search of that perfect chemistry that "feel" that tells you "this is right. I have never felt more connected or more at home with my music than I do now. I never knew how dynamic a drummer could be or the impact it could have on my music until I met Steve Daehnert. In addition to being a phenominal drummer Steve is also an amazing co-producer. Coming from a diverse background of heavy metal, pop, jazz and funk... Steve's sensitivity is unmatched not to mention he plays with acceptional timing and "feel". If our songs "groove" it's because of him. In July 2002 we performed on the MARK AND BRIAN Radio Show (95.5 KLOS)and also played at the HOUSE OF BLUES in Anaheim. I think I was more excited to meet Mark and Brian than I was to perform. It was a sureal experience I will cherrish always. Well, I'll stop here cuz most of "who i am" is in my music and I'm not a big fan of bios that ramble too much so thanks for checking out the music and take care!!
