Artist History On day seven, as GOD lay at home, resting from his busy week, he chose to take a glimpse into the future and survey the evolution of what would come to be known as MUSIC. Just as GOD was thinking, Hey, looks great, he came upon a vision of a dark and pitiful time; a time where the corporate labels lost control of the market because society had conjured up a sytem of obtaining music for free. However, it was not the uncertainty of the time and possible restructuring of the entire music industry which troubled him, but the lack of creativity and forward thinking amongst the artists. It seemed as though nobody had the ability to create new forms of music or, at least, borrow ideas from the past and mix them with original thought in an effort to create an inspired hybrid of sounds. It got so bad that society began to call old styles of music, created no more than 40 years ago (and as recently as 10 years ago), new music. No one could manage to combine the intensity and beauty of anger, rage, and rebellion, with depth, passion, and the understanding of self. And so GOD, in all his wisdom, planted 5 seeds that would, eventually, grow to become the family trees of the chosen few who would be able to save us all from the shameful state of the music industry which he had witnessed on that day. In an effort to make things a little easier on fate, he planted most of the seeds in Rockland County, NY, and one in Jersey. GOD knew that he would first need a pair of the heaviest and most inovative guitar players in recent memory (Gavin Pirell and Mike Zamir); men who leave the inventors of their processors in awe and the rest of the world looking around for a non-existent DJ. Second, a bass player who lays the funk down so thick and badass, you will need a shower (Anthony Falsetti). Third, and not just to prove a point about equality (which she enjoys to do every now and then): The best female drummer in heavy music (Elisa Seda). Finally, GOD needed a front man who could scream like a dying dragon and a spit sick poetics like the love-child of Edgar Allan Poe and a pitbull (Kelly Abe). Thus, a sound manifested in the most visceral vessel of our souls was born; one through which angels can find impulsive aggression while demons begin to repent. And when it was done, GOD gazed down upon what he had created and proclaimed, Behold SICKS DEEP, New York Digital Hardcore, baby. BOW DOWN!
