Artist History
Scooter was born and raised in the central Texas
town of Thrall, 35 miles northeast of Austin. He
grew up in an area rich in musical tradition and
flavor, ranging from Czech and German folk music
to country and rock.
Scooter began playing drums in local bands at the
age of 12 and hasn't slowed down since. He has
expanded his instrumental ability to guitar and
saxophone,and has become a popular entertainer in
central Texas.
Scooter has opened shows for many big names, including
Shenandoah, Dean Dillon, and Robin Lee. In 2001,
Scooter won the Lone Star 93 Texas Talent Search
competing against hundreds of entries.
After many years of performing cover songs in his
own top 40 country band, Scooter is moving to the
next level with original songs that are sure to be
fan favorites as well. |
