Musical Influences

Artist History The trio Pickled Fish was started by Carlos who convinced his brother to move to Gainesville, Florida so they could start a band. Carlos then posted flyers about wanting to start a band. Alejandro was the first musician to reply. Looking for a bass player wasn’t a problem, Alejandro was so good that the band was immediately formed. On their first couple of rehearsals Pickled Fish recorded 5 songs that Carlos had written on his acoustic guitar. The simple songs played by a melting pot of different influences sounded very different now, they sounded like Pickled Fish.
