Musical Influences Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Dashboard Confessional, New Amsterdams

Artist History Matt Carabetta was born in Meriden, CT and began playing guitar when he was 14. He spent most of his time learning to play Dave Matthews songs because girls love Dave songs. Along the way he started listening to indie rock like the New Amsterdams, Save The Day, and Dashboard Cofessional. He tried his best to mix the styles and create a dramatic hybrid of two very different types of music. Over the past few years he has been playing in coffee houses around Connecticut and will probably take his music to other states very soon.
