Artist History A few years back...in a land far, far away...lived 5 strapping young lads who wished to start a rock band. They named it Brodie Kagstarr. After the first show, various members (Luke Baker & Tommy Hoskins) fizzled away until only 3 remained. Little did these three men know that they would soon take Kansas City by storm. Brodie Kagstarr was all over the place. Brodie-mania hit hard and enormous amounts of shirt and shoes sales resulted. British Knights finally became a great shoe once more and BK was on the map, but wait...the saga continues. After a couple of years worth of solid KC playing, the drummer (Russ Pierce) left, and in comes the current drummer extraordinaire, DJ Lawrence. Please, please...hold the applause. With drumsticks in hand, he took BK to new heights, and Nick Pick (singer, tries to play bass) felt led to another form of ministry. After a year-long break, he realized that music was where his heart lay so here comes the mayhem once more. Micah campbell (guitarist, screamer) ended up marrying so out goes DJ and Nick looking for a new guitarist, and they found one. He was badly beaten, tattered, and torn, but the artist formerly known as BK took him in, gave him a guitar...and a second chance. This has been the line up ever since then, and they also decided on a new name...GUNG HO!!!! With instruments in hand and God on their minds, these 3 punk rawkers seek to go out and set people straight about Christianity. they want to make sure that people know that Christianity is the craziest, most spontaneous, and unpredictable ride any man (or woman) could take, and Jesus is the key to having that wild and crazy life. So this is Gung Ho's mission: to show all the chitlins that having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is a zany, passionate, and fulfilling life that is easily attainable through accepting God's free gift of salvation through His son, JC!
