    Artist History
Christopher Childs started playing guitar and writing songs about five years ago, but this is the first time he's fronted a band of his own. The Lost Poets first came together in early summer 2002. They are primarily an acoustic vehicle that dabble in electric music. Among the influences are The BEATLES, (especially JOHN LENNON), BOB DYLAN, NICK DRAKE, and a plethora of blues musicians. Also included are newer bands like RADIOHEAD and The WHITE STRIPES. Childs hopes to bring more attention to good acoustic with the allure of his unique style. The "Lost Poets" E.P. is their first recording together. Future plans inclue a follow-up full length album
