Artist History
The Killer Flamingos began in 1994 as a house band in a small Allen Park bar. The band has gone through numerous line-ups over the years, showcasing some of Detroit’s finest young musicians. In the winter of 2000, original member Darren Drake and drummer Steve Cooley made the decision to revamp the band and take it to another level. They teamed with Michelle Carravallah, Todd Best, and David Gondoly and the chemistry was instant and powerful.
