Billionaire Boys Club is about honest, catchy, guitar-driven/harmony-laden rock with street credibility. They have a sound and image that go hand-in-hand, but they are definitely not all style and no substance. |

Artist History
Billionaire Boys Club, or BBC, as some call it, was formed in the summer of 2002 by four like-minded young men, tired of being told what was cool and hell-bent on having their own say. Bored with the same lame sounds being peddled over the airwaves, our friends in Billionaire Boys Club resolved to be at the forefront of a revolution years overdue—the re-birth of Rock & Roll. What they stand for is simple: honest, catchy, guitar-driven/harmony-laden rock with street credibility. They have a sound and image that go hand-in-hand, but they are definitely not all style and no substance.
As luck would have it, the boys of the BBC have just completed a four song EP that showcases their unique style and sound. From the breakneck, hyper-speed assault of “Don’t Ya Wanna” to the pristine chorus harmonies of the mid-tempo rocker “Quittin’ Drinking” to the chunk and groove of the powerful “Super OK”, Billionaire Boys Club display an understanding and love of the things that make for great rock music. They don’t claim to have re-invented the wheel, but they do believe that the music they make can be appreciated and enjoyed by just about anyone with an open mind and an ear for tuneful rock.
The BBC has conquered many of the most famous venues in their native Northeast. CBGB, the Mercury Lounge, Arlene Grocery (NYC), Maxwel'ls & the Stone Pony (NJ) all have played eager hosts to the boys. They have also played prominent venues in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta and many other cities, and have had the opportunity to play with some of their favorite contemporaries, including: Fountains of Wayne, Superdrag, Marvelous 3, Reel Big Fish, the Smithereens, Longwave, The Dandy Warhols, and many others.
Billionaire Boys Club is coming to a town and venue near you in the very near future. They look forward to the opportunity to prove themselves and to rock your god damned face off. Don’t believe? Come and see and tell them what you think--they’ll be happy to see you. |

Jay Anderson, Popbang Radio (www.popbang.com)
The BBC's new EP picks you up over their shoulders and body slams you into a killer hook-filled assault on your ear buds! They take the melodic and harmonic smarts of Fountains of Wayne and Imperial Drag and combine them with the raw energy of Weezer and Redd Kross. This band is poised to be freakin' huge! Heads above most others, this is premo material.
("Super OK" was chosen as Popbang Radio's Single Of The Week on 6/2/03)
