Artist History Predicate Not Define came from a guy name Azwi. While studying in Northern University around 1999, he form his band name 'versace'. They quite involve into some band competition there and achieve better place after that. After studying the band separated but Azwi continue his musical soul with the first demo called 'start and drive'. Then he rename the band as 'Predicate Not Define', cames from his past C programming error in his assignment. For about half year, Predicate Not Define is one man's band and Azwi took a second demo early 2001 and this demo was recorded track by track in Alor Setar. His music direction was more to grunge and metal. Then early 2002 Azwi moved to Penang to work and lately he found Remie (drummer) and jammed together in weekend. Azwi find himself comfortable with Remie and they jammed Voci, Langsuir, Sepulture, Heloisia, and Nirvana ?. They Remie introduced Ritz (bassist) and Wan (lead) to join the band. Predicate Not Define had jammed several songs and the opportunity cames when saiful ask Azwi to play in the gig (We Are Not Superstar vol 2) in KL. 3 week before the event, Azwi find himself in trouble composing 3 new song which is never heard and define before. They had prectise a lot of these songs and played at the gig in Blue Planet (KL) poorly. Accept that this is the first show ever, Predicate Not Define show their gratitute in next gig in ex-Bali disco, Sunway (Jamming Lounge vol 1). 5 new songs and undefined, they make the crowd moshing and slamming in the small space. Currently this band has released two demo which are 'Beginning', including 4 song and terrible sound and 'Delightful Thought', 1 song (single) and mixed by the oldtimer of necrotic chaos member, Jadam. Their music now is more to combination of hardcore, metal, grunge and traditional mood. The vocalist, Azwi is more to variaty of grunge and hardcore, the guitar sound like sepulture with lower tune, bass more to running line (RHCP infuences) and the drummer is highly influences by dream theater, Children of Bodom and Dark Tranquility. So that's Predicate Not Define.
