Artist description
Choosing to truly believe and stand for an optimistic viewpoint proves a great challenge to those who try. This musical project called Opting for Narrow, is plainly stated, just that. Not only is it tough to manage a little band, but also to try and follow the steps that a righteous person should. My name is Dan Snook, and along with me sits my good friend Aaron Warner. I play acoustic guitar and sing these songs which I usually write in spurts of inspiration upon my rickety green chair. Aaron doesn't just play cello, he keeps us laughing, and in good humor. Much like the name of the band, Opting for Narrow brings a unique brand of indie-influenced acoustic music, enriched by the mournful highs and lows of the cello. Along with us are our friends and fellow musicians who are of great support to us. Olivia Teneyuque sings backup vocals along with me, and Ryan Pavlovich gets creative on percussive instruments when the need arises. Together, we believe in expressing ourselves in a way which could possibly display hope for things which are truly good, even despite the tough things we all go through and questions we ask. We are Opting for Narrow. Choosing to truly believe and stand for an optimistic viewpoint proves a great challenge to those who try.
