Artist History After all that can be said, the music is what matters most. That's the feeling shared by all of the members of Ohio based Nicoblue. This band is influenced by honest musicians that give a shit about the art in music. Formed in 2002 by songwriters Andy Rohde (vocals/guitars) and Gordon Cooper (guitars), the project began as an eight-track recording. After several months from start to finish, Twelve Inspired Moments was completed. Some tracks on the recording introduce Rohde’s unique style of insightful lyrics and compellingly melodic voice. Such tracks as “Sun Fields” and “Under the Bright Lights” capture the original sound of NicoBlue. Other tracks on the release include “Cymbol for the Floor”, “Come What May” and “Easily Startled” that all incorporate a unique theme of writing and catchy style. Nicoblue now has expanded to a five member outfit (Tim Diebert guitars/keys, Jonathan Fox bass/vocals, Ben Fox /drums) and captures the sincerity of Twelve Inspired Moments in a live setting. The band is uncompromising to try to sound like anyone else and is fueled by passion to be sincere and original. Nicoblue is currently writing new material and plans to tour extensively throughout Ohio, Michigan and the rest of the Midwest showing unsure music fans 45 minutes from ground to glory.
