Artist History
Audrey's Stone was formed in early 2000 by Bob and Tom in a small town outside of Binghamton, NY. They had played together for 12 years on and off in different cover bands all the while trying out a few original songs as they went. Corey joined the band in 2001 while looking for someone to play his original material with. Brad joined in late 2001 when the drummer position became vacant. Once they decided on the songs that would become CLEAR they recorded their first demo CD. A 10 song album of modern rock/pop music that has strong melodies and catchy guitar hooks. Currently they are working on their first fully produced album and touring from central NY to northeast PA. |

Press Reviews
Bob Bodnar (guitar, vocals) and Tom Haen (bass) have been close friends since adolescence. The two convened with Corey Call (guitar, vocals) and Brad Gordon (drums) in the Spring of 2001 with no shortage of ambition. The band was immediately productive; a full-length independent release, Clear, resulted less than a year after their inception.
A second platter, Direction, successfully builds on their established foundation. Perhaps the most striking facet of their sound is the inherent care taken in creating it. Call and Bodnar's writing on the title track and "When Will I See" exude an emotional intensity reminicent of Fuel's best work. The earnest, radio-ready "Still Not Happy" would not sound out of place on a Lifehouse album. Haen's fervent, empathetic "Nothing Inside" reveals his flair for genuinely moving arrangements. Audrey's Stone can also throw a curve-ball; Bodnar and Call's "Naked" slithers with the carnal swagger of Girls, Girls, Girls-era Motley Crue.
The quartet is based in the unlikely rural setting of Lisle, New York. They are constantly composing new material and regularly perform in the Northeast United States. |
