Artist History Singer/songwriter/guitarist Vaughn Tromburg has recently touched the core of an art that he has always loved, but now has the passion burning inside. Listen to him once and you will see that as he connects with his audience through his music. Comparisons to the mainstream music world to artists like Dave Matthews and John Mayer have been made, but with flavorful signing and a unique chord structure he has developed a style all his own. He received training from local musician Phil Jensen and DU guitar professor Philip Zweig. He continues his relationship with Phil Jensen as bassist and background vocalist in his band. Vaughn performs a blend of original compositions and select cover tunes by Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, and others. Performances include a variety of musical styles and moods from energetic tunes to ballads. You will hear the influences of rock, folk rock, funk, jazz and blues in Vaughn’s original songs. Having developed relationships with several high quality local musicians, Vaughn can perform as a solo acoustic artist or as part of a duo or full band. However he performs, the energy of his music will fit the needs of the venue and a musical connection will be made with any audience.
