Artist History
F.N.P. history starts in 1997 with 5 guys coming together to start a band called Rubber Knife. Around the same time, Chris Gorglione was looking to join a band. Two of the Rubber Knife guys joined up with Chris, one of them being Matt Robinson. Matt and Chris got a bass player and F.N.P. was born. Matt was originally on vocals and rhythm guitar with Chris on lead. Chris was in a side project called Snowblind with a guitar player named Troy Russell. Matt met Troy and, after a while, decided Troy should join up with F.N.P. and play guitar while Matt just sang. This formed the classic lineup, and it was here Troy earned his moniker, "Fat Tony." A while later, F.N.P.'s rhythm section left the band, and the remaining members went on to help start Unscathed. Chris still is in Unscathed, while Troy and Matt have since left Unscathed. All three are in the new version of F.N.P., with One Eyed Fish drummer Mike Solly and Snowblind bassist Jason Sammonds. |
