Artist description Born 1984 in Bielefeld Germany, Matthew soon discovered his passions for music. In his early years he got very interested in electronic music, mainly Dancefloor. With 9 years he started to play acoustic as well as electric guitar for almost 5 years. As he became 12 he discovered the possibilities of creating and remixing music on PC. At an age of 13 he finished his first "MegaMix", done in 2 months. One year later he began to DJ at home, first on CDs, then on TurnTables. He also began to learn the basics on playing piano. The same year Matthew learned to know DJ Chillung, who shared almost the same interests in music as DeeKay. One year later he founded his first very successful radiostation on the internet with some famous DJs. That time he bought his first synth, a bit later a hardware sequencer with which he made first experiences in music production. Few months later, in February, he had his first mix playing on 2 local radio stations. Since November 2001 he is, among few other DJs, resident DJ on 3 local radiostations.
