Artist History CONTRA was formed in highschool by the joining of Mike Stuck(DRUMS) to Lewk Nash(GUITAR) and Donnie Mossman's(BASS) band. Having kicked out their singer the band was forced to concentrate simply on the study of music and eventually, by the end of highschool, found the anomaly of group improvisation. Donnie took over most of the vocals since he was the first to become comfortable enough with the new style of play to start developing his voice. By the end of Highschool CONTRA was playing house-band slots and opening for bands as much as 10 years older. Things just didn't feel right though and the band stopped playing shows for about a year and a half. With a balanced sound and the drive to power the earth, the band has returned in full force to purge the lands of the bland.
