Artist description
"She was knee tight boots and poetry the first time I met her...Chloé Jo is beautiful. Her sense of fashion has always echoed the senses that were swirling inside of her. She is hot. On a crowded street in the East Village, she stands out from the tattooed neo-coolies. She is constantly on fire. Chloé sees the world through a very unique kaleidoscope. To her, everything is worthy of studying, examining. She observes without judgment.
It was around 72nd and Broadway. One night. The summer. Chloé and I were in a cab and she sang. I had heard her before, in restaurant bathrooms, apartment rooftops, cheap motels...I jest. But this cab driver had never heard Chloé. And he stopped the taxi, pulled to the side, opened his plexi-glass divider and found himself a bit ga-ga. Yes; he was a bit drooled up by Chloé's sexual energy, constantly emanating from her everything. But it was her voice, defined and original, that made this New York cabbie melt
Most recently I've seen Chloé sing at clubs in Manhattan. She has something I rarely, if ever, see. She is smoldering up there, but not trapped in her beauty or body. She could really care less. She has a sense of humor that is a throwback to the performers who became legends--Bette, Barbara, Cher. Chloé is performer. She grabs the audience, rips into them with this singing that you just haven't heard before and she just takes you to another place."

Press Reviews
"If the Beatles hadn't broken up as a group by the time Chloé Jo made it into the world, they just might have written a song called "Chloé's World." A native of Liverpool, England, Chloé (a cousin of Beatle's manager Brian Epstein) came out of the womb singing, "get this shit off of me." She was soon swept away to an island off the coast of America, where she grew up on its upper east & west sides. Raised in a family of deep religious beliefs rarely exhibited, she learned early in life how to use her voice. With the precocity of a yiddishe mamma and the tits of Marilyn Monroe, Chloé Jo had trouble finding her place in Yeshiva -- it seemed that the Rabbis were oftentimes in her presence led to believe that there were two gods instead of one -- not known as the great YHWH but instead as the nonpareil lft&rt. Inspired by the need to see the world, she transferred to a prep school on the upper west side where her true education began.
At NYU Chloé Jo majored in writing and her penmanship improved greatly. She graduated with an A, B, C, D, E, F, G and the rest of the alphabet. She also got a BFA which reminds us all of her big fucking ass. Yes, that, too.
Chloé's greatest joys (aside from ones that she won't tell you about) are her canines. Aside from never having needed braces (OK, just a bite plate), Chloé has two mutts. Her sisters don't like being called this. Her dogs are quite loyal as well, a lot more than her sisters, which is why she sleeps with them nightly.
A budding singer/songwriter, this Jewish girl's voice is from the Ghetto. Warsaw, that is. She's got the soul of oppression, the wardrobe of 7th Avenue and the body of an engine ready to go 0 to 60 in three seconds. Vavavoooooooom. As Laura Nyro would say if she were still alive today: "Rarely does a woman come along who's got brains, looks and talent. And when she does, shut up and listen."
So shut up and listen."
