Hava has a beautiful voice, which was noticed in an early age. Hava practiced her
vocal abilities regurally – according to a gypsy method of singing between
mountains, and the voice echoing back.
The wandering journy, which began in the day she was born in Derbant – one of the
Great Kavkaz mountains – only improoved her musical skills. This skills had gained
her trophies in evry singing contest, and led Havas` name before her.
At the early age of 14, Hava was already invited to perform in different counrties
around the world, accompanied by her family members as players, for they were
musicians for geneations.
Her original name – Hivit Abdalimatov – was famous in every city and stste in the Kavkas area, and Turkey.
Hava playes a variety of instruments, and sings, practically, in every style. Dolev`s
songs are always accompanied with a dance, unique to her.
When an Anti-semitism reached Dolev`s family, they have decided to give up
their successful career, and emigrated to Israel – to start everything over.
With the strong will, that lies in her, Hava learned the Hebrew laguage on it’s dialects, and within six months came out her albom “Looking At Life” (“Mistakelet Al HaHaim”).
Wich expresses her adjustment in Israel, including the song “Our Little Country”
(“Medina Ktana Shelanu”) with much irony and lessons taken.
After the success of the first albom, came out two more: “Prince Of Dreams” (“Nesih HaHalomot”),
released in 2000, and “Sameah BeGadol Im Hava Dolev”, released in 2001 – that
included new covers for some of her songs.
The alboms were produced by a well-known record company from the Tel-Aviv area,

Here new-coming albom, the fifth in count, will have a younger touche to it, fresh and vivid just like Hava Dolev herself. |
