Artist History Gettellio Scriptures better known as GS is virtualy a legend at the age of 23. He Has sold over 10 thousand copies of he's material. Those of us on the underground know when you sell that many units you are considered ghetto platium. But I must sadly annouce his retirement, due to deaf ears from the music industry. I mean he's my cousin and I can tell you first hand, some wierd stuff has happened to this cat. I mean he sends in demo's to the top record company's and hears no respones. But a couple months later you turn on the radio and hear damn the same hook on some up coming label punk. I thought he was lying until he proved it to me. I'm asking you (The Underground) Help me save a little piece of Hip-Hop. His up coming CD is called The Natural. It will be released on his own label Palished Entertainment. The material on this site is old I think from like 98 but it's like the only thing I have here. I mean this guy is the 2-time Mid west freestyle Champ. He's ready... and he's earned it. Gettellio Scriptures hails from Akron, Ohio but sharpened his rhyme skills in the depth's of Cincinnati where he opened for acts like Mob Deep (LOUD) and DeLa Soul (SONY), and traded versed with groups like MOOD (TVT) The Five Deez, and over beats made by DJ Hi Tek (RAWKUS). Currently back living in Akron, GS offers audiences a different view of the hip-hop landscape. Based on the courage of his convictions he has forcefully stepped onto the scene dropping lyrics with pinpoint accuracy that speak to hearts and souls of every listener within an earshot. Realizing the importance for him to remain true to the art but also acknowledging that he need food on his plate, GS balances his deep-seated messages with mainstream ideals to the "T", providing an uncanny harmony seldom heard in today's rap music.
